LITTLE CHESTNUTS PRESCHOOL
ABOUT US
What do we offer?
Children are offered a broad curriculum which enables them to develop the skills they need to become independent learners. The prime areas of learning are at the heart of what we teach as we believe that high level communication skills and developing children’s personal, social and emotional behaviour is key for good future outcomes. Little Chestnuts Preschool value the individuality of all the children who attend and encourage the children to have similar values. We aim to provide a happy, child centred, active learning environment so each child is able to progress at their own rate to achieve their maximum potential.
Solid Foundations Conker All
Little Chestnuts Preschool is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This requires everyone working in our preschool to successfully complete all clearances such as a DBS to enable them to work with children.
We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our safeguarding policy which can be seen and downloaded within our 'Policies & Procedures' section.
Through ongoing professional development, we are committed to sustaining a team of highly qualified and knowledgeable practitioners. All of our staff understand child development and use their skills and knowledge to inspire, challenge and develop each of the children at Little Chestnuts Preschool.
The nursery is led by an experienced leader. Jodie Lucas (Nursery Manager) holds a NPQML, a NPQSL (National Professional Qualification Middle/Senior Leadership) a degree in business and marketing and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in Primary Education.
